If you have not made the trip to Saburritos yet … please do you will not be disappointed! When you turn off the High Street and start making your way up James Street you are instantly met with a vibrant uplifting space that draws in your attention visually. The smell of freshly cooked burritos will drive you through the doors! 

The space inside is so welcoming and the use of colours and textures around the restaurant gives off a real sense of joy and happiness. 

Naimul Hossain is the owner of Saburritos Kilkenny and it’s easy to see his passion and enthusiasm he brings to this establishment. After spending time doing Hotel Management in Galway, Naimul spotted a gap in the Kilkenny food market and began to build his dream on opening his own restaurant. With help with the design from Yesterday’s (Fabulous Shop on Patrick Street) and his girlfriend they revamped this old Hotel into a vibrant fun space.  

Saburritos opened during Covid-19 and really hit the ground running with an over whelming response from the wonderful people in Kilkenny, they had queues tailing up the street, Naimul admits the response was far more than they had anticipated and he was a quick learning curve for them to manage orders and expectations, all of which they have totally under ‘wraps’ now!
