The Cutting Vedge are a plant based deli in the heart of Kilkenny serving organic locally sourced food where possible. 90% of their food is cooked from scratch with fresh salads and tasty hot options. Most of our customers are not vegan but just looking for a tasty healthy option.
“Along with our deli we have a wide range of dry goods eg rice beans flour available in biodegradable paper packaging or you can bring your own containers. Our ethos is to create as little waste as possible so all of our packaging is compostable. “
For Christmas lunch The Cutting Vedge are offering Lentil & mushroom Wellington Cranberry & hazelnut roulade or almond & roast vegetable nutloaf. (Sounds amazing!!!)
While serve a wide range of gluten and sugar free desserts to match.
“Lately we are making our own plant based cheeze and offering a taster box for Christmas with our sourdough bread and chutneys. “
It has been a rocky road for us as all businesses this year but we have survived thanks to our loyal local supporters.
